03 — The Music
For causes & collaborators

Music with a mission.

I write music around the things that matter — service, sacrifice, Gold Star families, veteran suicide, substance use, faith, loss, redemption, and the difficult road back to purpose.

Some songs come from my own life. Others come from stories I've been trusted to hear.

I don't believe a song has to end when the recording is finished.

The right song can honor a life, carry a cause, strengthen a campaign, give a film or documentary its emotional center, or put words around something a family, organization, or community has struggled to express.

That's where I believe music can do more.

My songs are available to nonprofits, veteran and military organizations, Gold Star and military families, filmmakers, events, and mission-driven campaigns looking for music that genuinely belongs to the story they're telling.

That may mean finding the right song from my existing catalog. Or it may mean collaborating to create something original — a song written specifically around a story, a person, a cause, a film, an event, or a mission that deserves to be carried forward.

Because I'm not interested in making music simply to accumulate streams.

I'm interested in making music that carries something.

A story. A name. A sacrifice. A struggle. A mission. Something worth remembering.

"Some songs are written to be heard. Mine are written to be used."

Eric Christopher Rush

Founder & CEO · Prime Pitch Podcast Network Inc. Bronze Star, Combat Veteran

Some call me Rush. I'm a Bronze Star–decorated combat veteran, a builder, a storyteller, and the founder of Prime Pitch Podcast Network — home to more than five hundred shows.

This work didn't begin as a business. It began as a lifeline. After combat — and the long road through trauma, incarceration, and back to identity — I learned that storytelling is how we find our way back to ourselves, and to each other. I call it outrospection: understanding yourself by truly understanding someone else first.

"Sometimes the best way to understand yourself is to genuinely understand someone else first."
